You may have heard that NDAA Section 836 requires domestic aluminum sourcing. Here's what's actually true. NDAA Section 836 directs the Department of War, formerly Department of Defense, to open a voluntary supplier registry by January 1, 2027, where suppliers attest to sourcing compliance.
