Taber Extrusions offers extrusion capabilities across a broad range of standard aluminum alloy series, including 2000, 5000, 6000, and 7000 series. Taber will also consider extruding other alloys, e.g., 1000 and 3000 series upon request. Extrusions are produced from recycled and select prime aluminum to meet required quality specifications.

In addition, the ingots cast in 1000, 2000, 5000 and 6000 series alloys range in diameters 8” (203mm), 9” (228mm), 11” ( 279mm), 16” (406mm), 20” (508mm) and Rectangular 28” X 10” (711mmX 254 mm). Our large-scale extrusion capabilities support the production of wide, heavy, and complex aluminum profiles. Taber’s new 10,000-ton direct extrusion press further expands our ability to produce large, complex profiles for demanding applications.
